APRIL 1, 2020:
On Wednesday, April 1, 2020, NC State Emergency Management and Mission Continuity sent the following message to the NC State Community:
“NC State Community,
In response to the spread of COVID-19 and the uncertainty of what the next several weeks will bring, NC State is moving all courses online for summer sessions 1 and 2 in 2020.
Courses already scheduled as face-to-face for summer 2020 sessions will be automatically adjusted to reflect online delivery. Tuition and fees charged to students will be assessed at the online rate. Faculty and other instructors are also being encouraged to offer additional online summer classes to provide more opportunities for students.
Please regularly check the summer sessions website for updated information and new summer online course options.
Although we remain hopeful that current physical distancing efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 will be effective and that many campus activities will return to normal over the course of the summer, we also hope the timing of this decision provides NC State students, faculty and staff with ample opportunity to most effectively plan for a productive summer.
Students, if you have questions about an existing or new summer session course, please contact the Student Services Center.
