Grade Point Deficit
Grade point deficit (GPD) is defined as the number of grade points below the required 2.0 minimum GPA. The deficit reflects the number of hours of B (3.0) grades necessary in the future to raise the GPA to the 2.0 minimum.
Viewing Advising Dashboard
If a student has a grade point deficit, it will be displayed on their Advising Dashboard in MyPack Portal. To access the Advising Dashboard:
- Log into MyPack Portal using your Unity ID and password
- View your Student Homepage
- Select the ‘Planning & Enrollment’ tile
- From the left-hand navigation menu, select ‘Advising Dashboard’
Students can view the calculation of their GPA deficit by clicking ‘View’ next to their academic standing (Academic Warning or Suspension) under the Academic Indicators section of the Advising Dashboard.
Note: Students in Good Standing will not have a GPA deficit calculation.
