When to Request an Exception

If you have problems getting into a class for which you have met the requisites and restrictions, please contact the program offering that class using the information below. In your inquiry, please include your:

• Name
• Student ID
• Preferred section(s) (lecture, lab, problem session, etc.)
• Transcripts for proof of requisites (as needed)

If your program does not have a preferred method, contact or form, please utilize the default method of emailing the instructor of the course for permission.

How to Request an Exception

Academic programs in departments and colleges have a variety of preferred methods by which they receive enrollment exception requests. Use the tables below organized by college to find the best method for your desired class.
